Multimedia environmental installations

Venice, Italy_ Public space project. Video installation in Venice. INPUT_OUTPUT - a regenerative video dome project for public space inspired by American Indian sweat lodges, low profile huts, typically dome shaped where purification ceremonies are performed; as well as by the many basilica domes in Venice where the artists Clare Ann Matz and Valentina Reolon grew up. The INPUT_OUTPUT dome wants to be a regenerative experience for the visitors, infusing their minds , body and souls with visions, sounds, smells and words. Creative Showcase “12IN4”
“This exhibition is about rhythm, reflection and resonance. The elements are the body, the seasons are the pulse and the moon is the breath.”

"12IN4" is not simply a multimedia exhibition—it is a compass of consciousness,
and the exhibition is an intimate and visceral exploration of the primal forces that surround us.
A sensory experience that invites visitors to reflect on the cyclical nature and the infinite power of transformation.
Step inside and be enveloped by 4 elemental energies—Fire, Water, Air, Earth—each igniting, flowing, disturbing, or calming in perpetual motion on luminous monitors positioned at the corners, forming a crucible of the primordial language of nature. This elemental video art is not simply images; it is invocations—evoking sensations, memories, and wonder.
Across the four walls, round canvases bloom flowers like 4 seasonal mandalas. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter—the everlasting spiral of growth, culmination, decay, and rest. These floral archetypes speak through color and gesture, embodying the emotional palette of time.
In the midst of these images, four long scrolls of poetry hang between each season. These are the 4 phases of the Moon—New, Waxing, Full, Waning—captured in verse. Their shape is deliberate: loose, upright, transitory, mirroring the moon’s ghostly descent across the sky.
As they float in space, they ask us: What phase are you in now?
These 3 manifestations multiply the 4 and result in 12 stages.

The number four is considered a pivotal and resolving number: in fact, there are four cardinal points, the main winds, the seasons, the lunar phases, the fundamental elements.
The number twelve has a profound symbolic value. The twelfth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is LAMED, and its meaning is Love, a condition that leads us to understand the very foundation of Creation. This number also represents the months, therefore time. There were twelve apostles, the twelve constellations relating to the 12 signs of the zodiac, therefore meaning not only the concept of time but also that of space.
Together, these numbers suggest a balance between the microcosm and the macrocosm, where 4 represents stability and concreteness, and 12 the totality of the universe.
This exhibition becomes a living clock, whose hands are not fixed but fluid—measuring not minutes, but transformations. Each element fuels a season. Each season leans on the mood of the moon. Each lunar phase reveals a hidden chamber of the soul, an alchemic wheel—a wheel where emotion, nature, and time speak as one voice.
"A richly symbolic multimedia exhibition beckons—a convergence of elemental power, cyclical tra nsformation, and poetic insight!"

Haiku delle fasi di luna
Gelo tra i rami,
lo sguardo veste d’argento
i tetti in silenzio.
Vento d'equinozio,
sparanza danza in alto
tra nubi leggere.
Luce nel grano,
la falce della notte
non osa toccarla.
Cicale in coro,
tra risa di bambini
sale il sogno.
Foglie nel vento,
tra i rami spogli ferma
la luce antica.
Neve sui tetti,
una sfera di quiete
accende la notte.
Strade di brina,
nessuno guarda
le luci spente.
Profuma il buio,
una luna fragola
matura in cielo.
Il cielo vibra,
vento e fulmini insieme
tra nuvole punk.
Rosso il riflesso,
la luna di sangue sorge
sul cielo in fiamme.
Città sospesa,
dietro veli d’umidità
la piena attende.
Due lune in un mese,
blu come i sogni spenti
di fine anno.
Petali a terra,
una falce nel cielo
taglia la quiete.
Alba che brucia,
il buio si ritira
senza far rumore.
